The GMC Terrain marries the capability and safety you want with the interior comforts you need from a compact SUV.

Two rows of spacious seating welcome five people into the well-appointed cabin of the GMC Terrain. Leather upholstery, heated seats, and a heated steering wheel are all available upgrades to the seating, and dual-zone automatic climate control is also available to increase the comfort for driver and passengers, regardless of the temperature outdoors. The Terrain boasts more legroom for rear seat passengers than the rivals in its class, and offers more standard infotainment and connectivity features than most of its competitors as well. You'll find more than just a USB port and a touchscreen as standard with the GMC Terrain. Instead, you'll find the standard features include four USB ports, a 7-inch touchscreen with the IntelliLink system, voice recognition, Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a Wi-Fi hotspot.

Safety is a priority with the GMC Terrain, which offers a number of driver assistance and other safety features to help keep everyone traveling in your Terrain safe along the journey. A rearview camera and the Teen Driver system, which helps teens develop safe driving habits, are included. Traction control, anti-lock brakes, a complete suite of airbags, and electronic stability control are also standard. A surround-view camera, safety alert seat, low-speed forward automatic braking and forward collision alert, blind spot monitoring, lane keep assist and lane change alert, rear cross traffic alert, lane departure warning and rear parking sensors are all available safety options.

But the Terrain doesn't leave performance behind in its list of priorities. Three turbocharged engine options - a 170-horsepower 4-cylinder base, a 252-horsepower 4-cylinder, or a 137-horsepower turbodiesel - are available, depending on performance requirements. Either engine will hold solid to twists and turns on any road surface, and reliable towing of up to 3,500 pounds when properly equipped.
